After finishing Medical School in Latvia, Dr. Gershanok obtained his Dental Degree from NYU followed by Residency at Montefiore Hospital. Michael Gershanok, DDS, attended dental school in Latvia and then relocated to the United States, where he received a second Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in from the College of Dentistry at NYU in New York, NY, in 1992. Furthermore, he conducted his general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Nikkhah completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, MD, and then conducted her residency at the VA Health System in New Orleans, LA. Over the years, she has volunteered in Kenya, Peru, Cambodia, and Israel. Both Dr. Nikkhah and Dr. Gershanok have been teaching at the Montefiore, Jacobi, and NCB Hospitals, as well as lecturing locally and abroad.
